First things first --- Seniors PAINT THE STREET in front of the High School. Really? The street? I think more paint ends up on the Seniors than the street!
Then there was the PARADE ---
Senior class officers rode tandem bikes. Melanie is Senior Class President and riding tandem with buddy Patrick while throwing candy to the kids!
Next came POWDER PUFF!! --- crimson vs. gold --- final score 13-12 :( Devastating loss by only one point!
Melanie is in the center on the photo on the left. On the right, we have a great shot of Melanie devouring her sandwich on the sideline! That sandwich gave her the strength to tackle the opposing team's quarterback (and one of her best friends). See those flags hanging off their waists? Yeah. She didn't use them!
Last, but certainly not least, the HOMECOMING DANCE ---
As a three month veteran of 16 years, Dustin joined the dating crowd. However, due to Utah driving laws, new drivers under the age of 18 may not drive others in their vehicle, except for immediate family members, for the first six months of licensure. Dustin is three months shy of being able to drive his date. Of the other three boys in Dustin's date group, two still don't have their licenses due to Eagle first rules. The fourth member has had his license only two months. What is a boy to do?!?!?
Get your big sister and your brother-in-law to chauffeur you in dad's big white van! Duh!
Dustin's group of non-driving boys - and his group with darling dates!
Dustin's date just happens to be one of Nicole's young women in a neighboring stake, so Nicole got to do double duty as hair dresser AND chauffeur!
Greg was ready for Melanie's date to arrive ---
And arrive he did ---
But not before I snapped a shot of these two darling siblings who have a history of togetherness!
A lovely week was had by all!!
