This year Melanie was again chosen as one of the seven soloist to perform at Logan High's Concerto Night.
She played Violin Concerto, Op. 14, 1st movement by Samuel Barber.
Dustin is in the orchestra (french horn). Melanie was not happy that he wasn't ready to leave when she was.

Melanie played beautifully! As did each of the other soloists.

Good thing Chase was in attendance so he could be Melanie's flower holder! And Melanie was honored by Irving Wasserman's attendance as well. THE Irving Wasserman. He is 96 and still driving! Melanie's best compliment ever came from this gentleman when he told her she plays like a Jew!

Bravo Melanie!

Here is the actual performance. Please note - the orchestra is pretty out of tune, so ignore them and listen only to the soloist, if you can :)
